Well, what a weird, weird world we find ourselves in.  We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who is doing an amazing job looking after and nursing our loved ones and to all of those countless other people who are keeping the world turning.  In times of adversity the strength, kindness and resilience of people and communities are just wonderful.

2 little lambs number 28 in the orchardAnd while all of this is going on the seasons are carrying on regardless.  A few days of blue sky and sunshine have been a complete tonic and spring is definitely in full swing.  Whilst we wouldn’t normally bombard you with pictures of sheep we thought you might like to see a few of the many new arrivals around here – lots of new life, and with it, hope.

And in case you’re wondering about the numbers – there’s a kind of sheep bingo going on in the fields – each lamb has a number sprayed onto it matching that of its mother – no chance of getting lost despite their best efforts!

And finally, the spring flowers are just gorgeous too – a little bit of normal.

Wherever you are and whatever you’re doing, I think we could all do with some of that right now, even if it’s just for a moment or two
